5 Common Ways To Remove Hard Water Stains

Hard water stains are the white or brown marks/deposits/patches due to high amount of deposits of minerals like silica, lime, and calcium. These marks are usually on your bathroom floor, sanitary, glassware and kitchen. With these 5 ways, you can easily get rid of those stains.

1. Plain vinegar

For places where you think you would need a really tough agent to take care of hard water stains, plain vinegar can help the best. The toilet bowl is one of the toughest things to clean. You can pour concentrated vinegar all inside the toilet bowl and let it sit for 2-3 minutes, to let the dirt get loose a bit, then rub the dirt off with the toilet bowl cleaning brush and flush off, Voila! 2. Diluted vinegar

3. Baking Soda and Vinegar

4. Lime

Lemons are the best natural thing to help you remove stains. You will need to rub the lemon on the stained surface and leave it for 15 minutes before you can rub off the dirt.

5. Hydrochloric acid

If the stains are very old, you will need to use something that is strongest of all. Hydrochloric acid in its diluted form can help you the best. Pour it in the spray bottle and spray the solution on the stained area, let it sit for a while and rub off with damped towel or sponge.
